Thanks to you, Rodneisha has graduated!

Thanks to you, Rodneisha has graduated!

On behalf of the entire Children of Shelters’ family we are so pleased to congratulate Rodneisha on her graduation from Howard University!  With the support of Children of Shelters this incredible young woman has lifted herself from the challenges of more than four years in and out of the shelter system and is now a first generation college graduate.  Rodneisha has earned a Bachelor of Arts in English and has been accepted into the Speech Language Pathology Masters’ program at both Northwestern and Howard University!  Her future plan is to become a bilingual speech pathologist as she works to master the Spanish language.

Generous supporters like you allow us to support these hard-working children on their educational journey as they break the cycle of poverty for themselves and generations to come.  Children of Shelters is extremely proud to have helped 4 scholarship students graduate from undergraduate school.  We continue to provide a full scholarship for one San Francisco student attending the University of Hawaii in addition to partial support for Rodneisha as she continues on into Graduate School!
